Creekbend Wins Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School Award

(December 4, 2025) –  We are proud to share that Creekbend Elementary and Middle School has been recognized as a Blue Ribbon Lighthouse School for the 2024-25 school year! Today, former Creekbend Principal Cindy Dusang, former Creekbend Instructional Coach Cagney Weaver, and Creekbend teacher Kayleigh Wilson accepted the award at a ceremony in Orlando.

The Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence program assists all schools, with a special focus on low-socioeconomic, culturally diverse, and low-performing communities of learning, in assessing the quality of their academic and instructional programs and in developing a school-wide action plan to ensure measurable student achievement.
